Bought new rifle, Old Sako AV in 9.3 X 300 WM - 2967 FPS with 286 NPs

Ben, Doug says take it for a spin. Golly , sure says I. I go to get in, my right leg is wrapped around stick shift, right knee resting on passenger seat, my head is pushed against headliner enough I can't look up. I still don't have left leg in car. I will get Doug back for this!

My Matrix bullets have arrived, new loads a-comin".....got 100 for the 9.3 270 gn rebated boattail....50 to try in my 340 Wby 240 gn RBT and 50 to try in the 375s 285 gn RBT. More chronographing and photos to come with the new 270 gn loads.

Back to business, you guys, enough blather about the Testarossa..........let's see what the 9.3 Super will do with these bullets !!!:D:D:D

Indeed.

And on Thursday I took THREE rifles chambered in ".360 Wagner" aka 9.3 x 62 to the range. As I suspected, the keeper will be the last one I bought, so two others are going to go to new homes. Who knows, maybe one or both will become a "9.3 Super" like the star of this thread. (When the thread is not being hijacked about sports cars and Schultz and Larsen rifles..........:rolleyes:)
