Bought Sight Unseen....

I got a text a couple days ago, long story short, do I want a 30-06 for $150? That's it for details. I figured for 150 bucks it's worth a gamble. Picked it up today.






Turns out it's a Remington 700 in 30-06. Sling, case, Simmons 3x-9x32 scope with see thru rings (assuming it's a cheapy? no idea...), 7 rounds and 10 empty brass. Couple questions.....
- I figure I did alright for $150....true?
- Is there any way to date these rifles?

Ever buy anything without checking it out first?

Id say you did pretty good. Scope is nothing special but the gun looks great! the wood is purdy.

Thanks, and yeah it's in perfect shape. Not a scratch or mark on it. It is my first bigger centre fire rifle. I'm happy even if I never shoot it. Can't use it for hunting around here....
