Bought some property up near Cochrane Ontario....so what deer, bear, moose?

If you are into bears there is no shortage of them, buddies of mine up there get some incredible bear hunting. Moose are in good abundance but tags are tough to get. Especially in WMU 28 as mentioned. There is some fantastic fishing in the area, especially up on the big lake(Abitibi). Yes it will definitely be an adventure, and especially nice to get my kids (all 4 of them) out in the great outdoors....that alone is worth it all. They are already getting excited about going up there with al the things to do and we are still a couple months away from our first real excursion...

Good idea on the remote cameras, handy having the hydro. Also, you could use it to watch for wildlife from home.

Yes that would be great! Some of the cameras have night vision on them so it would give a great idea of what creeps around the property at night!

It has a pan controlled camera as well....
 
Just an update we are thinking of heading up Easter weekend to the property...the temperatures are up in the 20s this week so it should clear the land of any snow but if anyone lives in the area would you mind letting me know the snow has cleared?
