Might be the same thing, but went out and bought my ultimate rifle today. Holland & Holland .375 Flanged Nitro Express Royal double with some curious features, single selective trigger, 26" barrels, H&H scope mounts, ejectors, the whole todo and every option I would like in a double. Some will raise an eyebrow at the single selective trigger, but I trust H&H's lockwork and a .375 double is all about being the fastest two shots in the dangerous game world, being light in caliber. A single selective makes it just that split hair faster. It's also my favoured lockwork on side by side shotguns, on which I've spent far too much trigger time.
I've struggled with whether to minimize to affordable guns and have a selection, or only have a handful of absolutely top notch guns, guess I've decided my path at least for awhile, as I'll never go above this. I'll be sure to post some pics when she gets home. My .577 shopping is going to be on the back burner a few years I'm afraid. Those of us that shoot together I'll be sure we meet and shoot it, and Jon / pitched we'll have to meet up and shoot one of these days as I'm back in BC. stickhunter, I insist you borrow it. Can't kid myself, just excited and feels like Christmas, and yea yea… the thread's worthless without proper pics, will be sure to share em.

She's home, and extraordinary. I'm snap pointing it at the elephant and buffalo canvas prints of my wife's Africa photos, and I've never, ever handled a gun that points like this. Time for Scotch.

Just some bad snaps in poor lighting and awkward angles, will have to do better in daylight, but gives the idea. Prettiest rifle I've ever handled.
