Bowhunting deer but carrying a shotgun for small game ?

got my book out and reed the top frist paragrafe on page 52 you may not carry a rifle or shot gun for hunting other animals well bow hunt ,DUTCH

Carrying a shotgun or rifle is not illegal anyway! How the #### can they charge you unless you're DUMBASS enough to shoot an animal out of season with it!?

But I know there have been ASSHATS that shot an animal with a rifle, then tried to stick a broadhead through the bullet hole.
 
I carry a dedicated small game arrow with a shocker tip for small game when I'm out hunting deer with my bow. It's great practice and very effective.
 
So I got an anwser, its Illegal in quebec based on the logic that all the rule apply based on what specie you "intent" and then used as a whole.

- If you go deer hunting during bow and gun season, no problem to bring both.

- If you go small game hunting during bow and gun season (always at the same time) no problem to bring both.

- If you go deer hunting with bow and small game hunting with gun in the bow season for deer and the gun season for small game, Illegal, big problem and considered as a poacher IF you said you are after deer (or look like you are after deer...)... since all the weapon you carry are considered the weapon you are using
