Bowning BPS Upland 16 gauge

I have one I bought new around 2006 called upland special in 16ga with english stock and short barrel. She is not on a 12 ga frame for sure. I have not had the time to shoot more than a box of shells through it so far but like the gun. Here is a write up on the 16ha hunter model which is also not on a 12ga frame. I would say the ones being made today are not either

I just noticed the upland has no recoil pad. Maybe the hunter model is better for intended use. Brownings website says its based of the 20 gauge frame. It takes a bit of clicking but it does say it. Thanks!
