Box vs Tubular magazine

I got and use a 1940 Marlin Model 81 bolt with tube mag. A great gopher or target rifle. It shoots under an inch at 50 yards with a bipod and shoulder hold. You certainly cannot go wrong with your choice.
 
If you shoot at a range the box magazine is usually a lot more convenient. During cease fires for target changes (which can be quite frequent at competitive events) the gun have to be safed and unloaded. Much easier to eject the magazine than to empty out a tube.
