That is a very nice collectible and in very nice condition. Having several PPk's / PP's I have done my fair share of research on these fine guns, and it seems that there were 4 distinct variations of Police procured PPK's and this one look like it's from the 2nd Variation. 2. 286###K to 357###K – c. 24,500, ‘eagle/N’ & ‘eagle/C’, 1940-42. It's too bad about the crack in the grip as it looks like the screw was tightened down too much at some time. These grips get really fragile as time goes on.
