The NEA rifle and ammo combo states it comes with PMC .223 ammo while the NEA is 5.56 x 45.

I understand correctly that the ammo in the combo does not correspond to 5.56 x 45 chamber pressures the NEA is built for but is definitely .223 not 5.56?

You can use .223 and 5.56 in a 5.56 chamber. The 5.56x45 is the higher pressure cartridge.

You can use 7.62x51 and .308 in a .308 chamber. The .308 is the higher pressure cartridge.

Yes thanks that is excellent.

Decided to throw in some 5.56 x 45 into my order which was super easy to do to test the rifle out to start.

May go to the 223 later on for economy and to save wear and tear but just in case I want to test things out up front so I can clear them up with NEA if necessary.

We are working on this. For some reason the discounts are removed after the order has been placed. You should get a notification email for the order with the correct discounted total on it. This is the amount you pay.

Interesting. This is the first ever case of a wishlist notification not being sent. I can understand your frustration with the situation, especially considering you made a wishlist application.
