General impressions... from those who have used them...
Do you like the Boyds At One stock?
Is the lack of lateral/vertical adjustment on the rear, a big negative?
Weight distribution balance?
Rough cost in C$ to your door?
Buy direct from Boyds or via a dealer?

I am familiar with the various other adjustable stock options- I am mostly interested in opinions on the Boyds At One here.

Thanks

The stock overall is nice and has features that allow for a good amount of adjustment. The only complaint I have is the pistol grip is not rounded and feels like your holding a 2x4 but it is the style I guess. For the price it is of good value and it does everything I need it to do. The balance to me seemed good and it enhanced my Savage Bmag rifle immensely over the factory stock. I ordered mine directly from Boyds and it took a couple of weeks to get. I can't recall what I paid overall at the moment but I do remember the custom charges were a bit steep.

I have two At-One stocks... the standard version on a Browning T-Bolt and the thumbhole version on a Dlask TUF22 build. Customs fees are hit and miss when ordered directly from Boyd's, neither of my At-One stocks were levied at the border, but I have had well over 100 Boyd's stocks and roughly half of them get dinged for taxes and fees. The standard At-One has a squared grip and is not as comfortable as the rounded grip of the thumbhole version, although the ergonomics are the same for both versions. the adjustments for LOP and comb are push button simple and smooth and solid. All-in-all, I feel that it is an excellent purchase and a nice addition... the price was $355 to my door.

Here's mine that I used for my "axis on steroids".

It's a good product for the price. BUT, the inletting is generous, probably to be drop in with any rifle for the specific stock. If you want the rifle to be grouping well, you need to install steel or aluminium pillars and epoxy bed the action like I did

In my case, I had to work the forend when I swapped the barrel to a varmint contour. If I had to do it again, I would go with the Provarmint because there is more material to work. Other than that, it made this cheapo axis a real nice rifle to shoot and the adjustments are very cool. I think it costed around 370 CND to my door. I strongly suggest the target handgrip (optional) the upgraded forend.

I am happy with my at one stock (with out the thumb hole). i didnt like the 2x4 grip on it either so i spent a little time with a file an rasp to make it comfortable. just have to do the pillars and beding

I'm quite happy with the At-One Thumbhole for my Savage 10T-SR. The fitment is perfect around the receiver; but with the heavier barrel it needed the barrel channel opened up - which was no more than an hours work with a bit of sandpaper and an assortment of deep sockets.

Because of the relatively tight fit, I didn't initially bed the rifle. But, after some buggering around with an unsuccessful attempt at converting to an AICS DBM (which required some opening up of the magazine area), I added some JB Weld Steelstik to beef up the area that had been whittled down for the DBM - as well as around the recoil lug. A very tight fit now, that is even slightly fiddly to get the rifle back into the stock; which is fine by me.

It would be nice to have one more detent of comb height adjustment, but that's a minor "issue". Total cost was around $400 (with Customs fees) - back in September of 2019.

The one major downside of ordering from Boyds is their shipping fee. It is absolutely ridiculous how expensive it is via USPS.

I was turned off of the Boyds stocks while researching for the same '2x4' type comments. Ended up with a KRG Bravo and a Magpul hunter, and they're both fantastic.
