I recently came acros Boyd's Custom Gunstocks website after doing a E-Pay search.I sent the individual that was offering them a question as to wether or not he would ship to Ontario Canada.He quickly replyed to me that he gets asked more times if he would ship to Canada I think then the USA.His response was he would have to require getting a import license for purchases over $100.00 and that he was told flat out by the OPP that it would be held at Customs and listed as in process of crossing into Canada well point blankly FOREVER????
Anyone ever order directly from the website under $100.00 so no import license is required and did you get it??
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!:)
 
Well OPP has no juristiction or authority to force Customs (CBSA) to hold anything, and OPP shouldn't have anything to do with what is allowed to be imported/exported. That job belongs to Canada Border Service Officers (customs). I would ask that guy if he has talked to CBSA or RCMP via the Firearms centre.

I know it doesn't answer your question but maybe you could ask CBSA.
 
I bought 3 stocks from Boyds. All were under $100 each, and they did say there was a $100 limit they were restricted to. The M14 / M1a stock had an interesting note attached to it. It was the last one I've ordered from them. It said that this export is for deliver to and and for the sole end use of ###xx (My name). Sounded like something real official. Words to that effect (I'm going by memory).
