I WANT!! I WANT!

Did you bed the receiver?

Actually no, that is beyond my level of comfort and understanding for now but something I'm considering for the future.

My primary focus right now is figuring out which mags and ammo it likes (21 diff models of ammo ).

Did a test session at the range on Tuesday, best grouping was 0.75" @ 50 yards (benched front of stock) with CCI Standard Velocity, besting Eley Target and SK Standard +.

I think not bad for a poor vision, low power scoped noob....

I'll do a few more tests @ 50 yards and then take the ammo testing to 100 yards once I get a higher power scope.

Wham-O that is very reassuring :). Based on the monte in your pic I can tell you must have good taste lol.

Radman, I'm new to this to, but that sounds good to me.

I just wanted to finish off this thread. Couldn't be happier with the stock, it's gorgeous and very comfortable. Just finished piecing together the gun for the most part today. thanks to everyone who offered their advice!

Please ignore the crappy cell pics, and my colourful floor.

-NEA 9" bull bbl
-Dlask rail
-Dlask reworked levang comp
-Bushnell Banner 3-9x40

I couldn't be happier, I really wanted to do an AR build with a 22lr upper, but im thrilled with the path I took. Can't wait to go break this in! I plan in doing some trigger work, and some internals/ergo improvements in the near future.

Evolution of the evo

The Evo is the second type that I know of in the evolution of this type of stock from Boyds. I have an early one called the Smartstock. Very comfy to shoot and has fingergrooves on the front. Unfortunately was discontinued when the Evo came along. Later.
