Boyds laminated stock & handguard (PICS)

Keys to those little plastic-type trigger locks will also work in a pinch, but they may bend if the liner screws are in particularly tight.

If you've got your Boyds' bedded... We need pics guys, PICS!!! Mine won't be done until the M14 clinic in VanKleek Hill in March...

Cheers
Jay

It is bedded now but I have not tried it on the range yet. Very pleased with the stock. I´m gonna use this setup in 3-gun matches.

Would it be possible to get pics of the bedded areas, i.e. without the action in the stock please?

Has any body have any trouble fitting to the stock? Having trouble trying to get trigger latch closed. Thinking some material has to be removed were the trigger assembily comes in contact too the stock just in behind were the magazine goes.

Looks like the stocks are back in stock at dmfirearms. I just ordered a PEPPER Laminate.

Damned you cbr1100! Now, I've gone and ordered one. Where am I going to get the metal furnature to finish it?

"Best part is They're ≤ a used USGI synthetic stock"... Don't bet on that, with exchange and $50US shipping you are looking at $200Cdn

MONEY PIT... MONEY PIT.... MONEY PIT... MONEY PIT

Does the back of the receiver sit flat on the stock or is there a gap?

Mine has a gap between receiver ''horse-shoe'' and stock, I was wondering if I have to remove stock material at the receiver lug to let the receiver mortese sit flat on the stock or is it supposed to be that way? to let a thick amount of bedding material?
Thanks for any help, I can post picture later this week.

Just curious. Was your DM Boyds box opened by customs? Mine arrived sealed with yellow tape stating it had been opened by CBSA. It also spent a full week and a half sitting in customs? Never seen that before?
