Boyds m14 stock for m305

I considered that Red Green trick w/ the wire, but I didn't have any bailing wire on the bench.
I just got lucky with the pliers and flat screwdriver. It worked.
By then I had little regard for the Norky handguard! :0 ]

where are you guys finding boyds stocks? any dealers up here in canada keep them stocked?

You can order directly from Springfield Armory (complete stock, actually made by Boyds, approx. $260 plus change, shipping, taxes), Brownell's (the same Springfield M1A stock, not the M14 stock) or from Boyd's (plain wood, no hardware). The limit for Canadian customers has been increased to $500 USD so no issues with shipping for these companies.

The stock needs some minor trimming as has been already mentioned, and the "popsicle" stick mod to keep the op rod spring guide retaining pin from backing out.

This is ### no pics.

Here's mine, posted on a prior thread:

I live near the border and have also a US adress. Can I buy the stock myself (from boyd or from any other place or person...) and cross the border with it? Do I need to have a exportation licence?

thank you

The boyds stocks are very proud as well I found I had to sand down the rear stock to be flush with the but plate as well I also removed some wood on the pistol grip area as well as the sides and the trigger guard area but after that and a bit of fitting for the wood top handguard they are very pretty units and they sure make the rifle!!
