Boyds m14 walnut w/o selector cut, who has experience ? Fit and finish alright ? The top cover fit well ? Any feed back ? Worth the 140 ? Does it fit norc 305s ?

Well made. May need some fitting as all stocks do when mounting to an M305. Mine was unfinished and needed some sanding. I've got a few coats of tung oil on it so far. M305 fits nice and snug.

If your's is finished, make sure you trim down the bit of wood under the back of the op rod track near the right hand side of the receiver heel. Also make sure you don't sand down the bearing surfaces for the receiver on the top of the stock and the flat portions of the trigger guard on the bottom of the stock after initial fitting

Where did you guys get the ferrule from? I don't see a way it's coming off my stock.

I have one on mine, it dropped in clean and has been shooting great for over a year. Its heavy but I recommend the stock. It also looks very sharp!!

Yeah, I thought Jerry (Mystic Precision) was ordering Boyds stocks in "bulk", including the M14 walnut stocks. Give him a shout on PM

If you've got a replacement USGI Wood stock, I could trade you the Boyds that came with my M1A Loaded. Installed with a Sadlak heavy front rail.
