Boyd's has 10% off on replacement stocks until September 30th.

For the M1 Garand this will bring the unit cost for a three piece finished walnut stock under the $100 USD limit Boyd's has for products sold to Canada.

Ordered online 8 pm last night .
Item shipped notification 10 am this morning !
Now that is customer service !

Mine was shiped from Mitchell, South Dakota at 11:57 AM today. I just might have it by the weekend as I am in Manitoba.

x2 on great customer service!

Any one wanting to get a Garand stock - don't wait as this sale ends on Sept 30th. Its not about saving money. Boyd's has a self imposed $100 USD limit on orders from Canada. The regular price for a Garand 3 piece finished walnut stock is $109.70 USD.

Yes, go for it. The $100 threshold is real. This winter I bought a nice GI stock on e-### for $102 plus change and damned if it did'nt get confiscated with me being out the whole cost plus shipping.

I ordered a Boyds set yesterday and it shipped today.:)

Lucky you
Mine left the US on Oct 1st . Arrived in Canada Oct 5
Must have been one hell of a line up at the border ! LOL
Been sitting in Mississauga since the 5th

Mine arrived in Mississauga on the 5th too. I'll bet your's is on the way. Probably in the belly of a jet over Alberta right now.

Goes to show you how these shipments work... South Dakota is directly south of me, I'll bet less than 500 miles. Still the shipment had to go east to Chicago then north Mississauga before heading west to Winnipeg! LOL

CP still shows in customs in Mississauga. Guess yours slipped through with out inspection . I'm not worried it will show up sooner or later .
How does yours look , Have you installed it yet . Fit & finish ?

Just got mine today. Cleared customs on Oct. 6th. I dropped the barrelled action in and it is tight, could just barely close the trigger guard. Brand new Fulton Armory buttplate fit like a dream and it doesnt look like theres much sanding to do before it gets the oil. (I got an unfinished stock set just before they went on sale)

I ordered one for a buddy of mine. Slim fit, I believe. Very nice quality even if it's unfinished. No sweat. My buddy loves to play with Tung Oil. Good to go now. Last week we installed the finished stock and all is wonderful. Boy is he :D ever impressed.

"Band of Brothers" time!

Cheers,
Barney

Had to clean the sand out of my SKS and Benelli tonight (put the guns in the truck next time its blowing sand outside) so I didnt get to playing with the M1. Looks like everything is a close fit right out of the box with only minor inletting and finishing needed.

The wait is over & I'm not impressed
I have 2 prev Boyds 1022 Blaster stocks . One was finished & one was not
Both of these fit like a glove and felt great .
This so called finished M1 stock is way over size , large sharp edges , needs to be filed to get the trigger group to lock up ( so much for the finish). Nothing that can't be fixed & what I would expect on a unfinished stock . But this was supposed to be a finished stock with a orig military finish . Looks like I have another project to add to the list
