Boyd's Tacticool 10/22 stock

Really? Does the Boyd's come with flush cups, swivels, dual aluminium bedding blocks? There is no comparison.......I've seen every 10/22 stock made that is worth mentioning personally.

just pulled them both up and was comparing them side by side.
so your saying that at twice the price that Victor one is worth it because it has swivel attachments and what looks to be a better bedding system?
im not saying its not a better system, im just trying to clarify that you think the bedding system is worth double the price, ive taken the flush cups out of the equation because a $2 swivel isnt important to accuracy.

currently im running a Hogue stock on my tack pusher and my accuracy is great, the Boyd stock would be the same kinda bedding as the Hogue, this Victor one has aluminum inside the fiberglass stock. could a person argue that the Boyd does not require aluminum on the inside as the entire gun is made of wood and therefore the entire receiver is bedded by the wood, where the victor has had to put aluminum into their fiberglass stock because you cant mount directly onto fiberglass because it wouldnt hold the gun without ripping through the fiberglass, so they had to put in some metal to make the system ridged?

hmm...... does look like a nice stock though.

Perhaps for you. I personally don't want fiberglass. The Boyds laminate has many options; LOP, colours, finish, butt pad and will be cheaper as well.

The Victor has an introductory of I think $169 so it is far from twice the price of a Boyds . On another thread a guy bought one and he said it was $200 to his door so that would make it only $50 more than a Boyds to your door.

Boyds tacticool.changed is now the PRO VARMINT!

A name change which re opens the door to us Canadian customers! Boo yah! Now to wait till they are back in stock for the mk ii!

$214 US shipped, so $242 Cdn (using Visa exchange rate), and then 13% HST for Ontario, more like $275 to your door.

I think Boyds are around $100 US, for an unfinished stock, so after shipping, currency conversion, and HST, it would be around $182 to your door.

To bad about that HST lol. Mine was a touch over 200 to my door. Sounds like you want to save 50 bucks for an unfinished stock. I rather have a stock ready to shoot. Each their own I guess.

13% LOL does your ass hurt when you sit down ? Alberta might not be perfect but at least its not Ontario HAHA

I left Edmonton 6 years ago, and my ass has still not got used to all the extra taxes here.

$50? More like $90. Not that I give a #### either way, just putting some math out there.

This is indeed great news ,as I`m a big fan of Boyds stocks (I just recieved my 3rd one on friday).

The pro varmiter or whatever it`s called now opens more options......very sweet !
