Looking to up date the Ruger from a Butler Creek stock, and am torn between the above two.
Instinct tell me that the Boyds will be more solid & accurate, but is it more suited to bench rest shooting?
The Hogue looks like it will take abuse in the field & be a little lighter but i know there may be some flex & bedding issues.
The gun will be mostly used for small game but id like to get her reasonably accurate and increase effective range a bit more.
Anyone any experience of either or both the stocks.
