I'm thinking Savage should sell some of their accessories/parts on their webstore- even though their thumbhole laminate and tactical stocks are from Boyd's and their peep sights are from Williams gun sight, the first place I'd look for Savage parts would be from Savage - plus it saves looking through dozens of models and hoping you didn't accidentally order a Ruger part by accident.

Speaking off Rimfirecentral and Tacticool stock here's an interesting thread about a cracked Tacticool stock, it's not the first time I heard about this situation, look a very common problem.

Interesting. I have no idea so what makes the laminated blanks so speclal and expensive?
Now, if Boyd's wanted to be smart (assed) they would immediately discontinue the Tacticool stock. Change it ever so slightly (a more pronouced hook, or higher comb, something simple and easy) and then release the new version, calling it the Avenger, or the Infiltrator, or the Testicool.
I would suspect DOHS wouldn't do much if it's a "new" stock, and doesn't say tactical.
