Boyds tacticool stocks in Canada?

Might be able to get a "replacement" for the 455 tacticool sr. That is if you can convince cz usa to ship anything outside the usa. They won't even ship a sticker up here last I tried.

The 455 stocks are made by Manners and are available for Savages too.

I tried to get a Tacticool Stock from Boyds and Savage. Boyds will not export the stock as it is covered by ITAR and is considered military technology. Savage would not provide me a Tacticool stock because you can only get them as a replacement and must provide your firearm serial number. Replacement stock is only available for TR and TRR models, so if your serial number does match one of these rifles you can't get the stock. Of course I found this out after the fact.

If you need a serial # ill gladly give you mine.

yes, mxracer_84, this is the latest info on Boyd's site. I am going the FV plus Boyd's tacticool. I think a phone call would help ease my mind though.

I've written and called Boyd's a few times asking or suggesting they consider building an unfinished stock 'like' the Tacticool stock, but call it something different and ship it to Canada They already sell an unfinished version through Midway USA, but still call it the Tacticool.

I had one of those stocks on a savage 64 trr-sr and it was the best thing about the rifle. It was a really comfortable stock (for bench shooting).

They sell them in coloured laminate finishes now. Still can't export it or the new AR furniture . I can all sorts of AR stocks from Brownells no problem, but a laminate rimfire stock in some sort of vibrant colour is military technology lol.
