Boys Anti-Tank Drill Purpose Round

Today, I picked up this Canadian DP round for the Boys Anti-Tank Rifle.

43 is pretty late for a Boys Rifle DP round. I've had a couple over the years that were lathe turned from solid brass with no markings. The grooves are interesting. I assume they made so few of these that it wasn't worth making up a die to put in the usual flutes you see on .303 DP rounds. Those grooves would be much easier to put in with some sort of roller.

They exist as you have described nickel plated indentations painted red I am in the process of Negotiating a trade for one.
