bp has benneli steady grip super nova for 399

i wonder whats a steady grip

but for a super nova it's definitely a good price, got my regular nova for more than that, and that was before the prices go up

Would you use this for waterfowl or is it strickly a turkey gun. I'm not yet sold on the steady grip thing, but I had my eye on that one as well.

actually i have a fully rifled m2 steady grip and love it, i will probably use it for turkeys and deer, i dont think would be that good for waterfowl with the grip but for that price i got to get it as i have now done some checking

well that fully rifled m2 will not b any good for turkeys the way it is youwill need a different barell DUTCH i vote for the pistol grip

Yup.
If you shoot shot out of a rifled 12g then it'll not only spin and go all over the place but it'll likely mess up the sharp grooves on your rifling after a bit of use.
There's a bunch of demos i looked up on the net when i was wondering the same years ago. It shows what happens when you shoot smaller shot through it. It's a mess as far as pattern goes.

i know beretta had a o/u with a one barrel having really slow twist supposed to be good for spreading the shot when shooting at woodcock and grouse in the bush.

i went to BP today all sold out they said they will give me a rain check but wont be getting the gun in anymore. so i went to lebarons in markham they had the supernova with the regualr stock marked up $200 over the catalog price.
