BPS problems

Are they choke tube guns?? made after 83 or so
I have a 12 3" and a 12ga 3 1/2 and nothing on either but these are late 90's or so

The ones I have seen were when they first came out in 79 or so and most in the early 80's were TRAP models
They seemed to eliminate it mid 80's

Yes I think so as far as the hunting models go The real trap guns ( not the ones someone sticks a stock on have the mag cut off feature if I recall correctly
There is a browning collector on this site who would know 100% maybe he will chime in

Thanks for all the help. I reassembled her a couple days ago and was able to make the time to put about 35 rounds through her yesterday without a hitch. It looks like the reassembly was the problem.
