Looked through the browning bps parts list if both guns are 3" chamber the trigger group and the carrier will interchange . Seems the 98 date I posted earlier has to do with a change in metal finish and perhaps changes made to the 3.5" bps .

I use a bps. I used plasti-dip? paint so if I want I can peel all my camo off and still have the original underneath. Its coming off in spots but was still good enough to get me a 24# bird this season
