i know it is 3 while hunting ducks
but how many shells is a pump shot gun allowed to contain in its magazine while hunting small game.

Yes that applies to all shotgun hunting in Ontario. Slugs, buckshot and any birdshot. Every year the MNR stops us to do routine checks. They always check the gun to see if the plug is in.

Slugs too! I had no idea. Since I don't hunt birds the plugs are long gone in my pumps. Guess I better remember to put them back in. Thanks for the heads up.

3 total in N.S. for migratory birds only (Federal Law as prev. stated), anything else (rabbits Grouse etc...) its what she holds, if it holds 9 it's what you can put in it.(except semi auto of course)
