Brain storming about a build on a P14 action. Feed back and ideas welcome.

So now you have a nice custom 303 rifle. Are you still thinking of going 30-30. You would be spending $600 to get worse performance than you have now. How about just buy some factory 303 ammo for a brass source, dies, and i believe that either Tradex or Henry at budget shooting supplies would have projectile.

The incredible strength of the P14 should allow you to hot rod the 303 to compete with a 8 mauser, maybe even 30-06. Looks like a shooter as it stands, seems a shame.

I am starting to reconcider my plans now thatthis rifle shoots so well!
I can source more brass, that wont be an issue.
And Dale at Chinchaga bullets has conjured up some shooting fodder for me already.
I will be trying some 175 grain 6S ogive bullets, and some 215 grain round nose bullets at a later date.

They are a nice looking bullet!

Swampy: John Remple (250) 786-5029 is the name of the gentleman who did the work on the action.

I glass bedded the stock and free floated the barrel before I had the action turned down.
I had a custom trigger installed as well by John.
