I am moving up to brampton in the near future,
and I was wondering where you buy your ammo.

Last time I was in Canadian Tire they had a tiny selection and
told me once it was sold out that was it. No more restock for any
brampton CT stores, or any GTA stores the CT guy said.

Brampton Ammo

Just moved away from Brampton, hope you like it better than I did. As far as ammo suppliers go, not much. LeBaron Mississauga is closest. Al Flaherty's on Duffern down near St.Clair, and then Bass Pro in Woodbridge come next. I usually made a car trip out to Shooter's Choice in Waterloo, as they really know thier stuff and usually have lots of stock. Ellwood Epps is the very best place to buy anything firearms related in Ontario, but Orillia is a bit of a drive. Good luck to you, in Brampton. I thank GOD every day I was able to move to "The Valley" and bring up my kids in a place where being a blue collar, english speaking, white, gun owning, family man doesn't make you a second class citizen. As I was leaving I was thinking of copying a sign I saw on the news once. To paraphrase, it read, "Will the last Canadian out...please bring the flag".

"...the CT guy said..." Nearly all TO area Crappy Tire stores are franchises. What happens in one doesn't necessarily follow in all of 'em.
Precision Arms isn't that far away from Brampton. Up Hwy 10 to King Rd and turn right. They're at Jane St and King Rd. Look into reloading while you're there. It'll make your ammo supply issue go away.

Brampton has become a black hole as far as the shooting sports go. Not that it ever was much of anything else. Have a look in Walmart too. Depends on what ammo you need. Or Crappy Tire in Georgetown.
Guelph Rod and Gun is about 30 minutes or so West along Hwy 7.(If you go there, be sure and stop in Saunder's Bakery in Rockwood. At the right turn on 7 heading towards Guelph. I think there's a stop light. Trust me. Their butter tarts are highly recommended. So is their bread.) Take you longer if you go down to the 401. Where in Brampton you are matters though.

I usually went to LeBaron's in Mississauga. It didn't happen very often, though, as I was able to do very little shooting the three years I lived in Brampton. I moved to Edmonton this spring and fixed that.

Why did I never hear of Precision Arms while I lived in the area?

All Canadian Tire stores everywhere are franchises, but they draw stock from central warehouses (located in Brampton, coincidentally enough). Corporate support for firearms was discontinued years ago. Look for a similar thing to happen to ammunition and hunting related items in the future.
