I know everyone has its own love with/hate against a particular rifle or brand. That is perfectly fine.

On the other hand, lets respect others who may not share the same love or hate, OK?? If you don't like a particular rifle or brand name, don't butt into that particular discussion and distract it.

You are not going to change anyone's mind in Justin Bieber's fan girl club, by yelling out loud your hate and telling everyone to like Austin Mahone instead. People will just throw water bottles at you and turn it into a fight. And then the security ( ie, the moderators!) has to come in and drag people out.

I keep trying to be understanding and open minded but it's so hard when everyone else is wrong ;) JK.

I try not to bash any brands unless I have direct hands on experience and only state my personal experiences not what I've read somewhere.
I have to bite my tongue alot.

Beiber is that little punk that needs some respect beat into him. He's a disgrace to society and shows how F'd up society is when a little sh!t like that makes millions being an idiot.

Yes, I agree with this. Most just jump on the gun snob wagon, and pay the big bucks for the name.
Well, CanadaAmmo changed that when they brought in the sterile Norcs. Slap a pair of Kimber logo-ed grips, and nobody's the wiser.

So Beiber's Canada's answer the Michael Jackson?

That the joy of living in a free country, in the morning you can buy a 500.00 combo and in the afternoon, you can buy a 5K rifle, all of that is fun and perfectly fine, and both buy deserve some respect... JP.

How about the guys who had legitimate problems with a brand or make and post it here online just to have 50 guys jump on the thread saying they had no issue with the same product and the OP is a crying baby whiner just trolling for attention since ****** brand is the best thing ever since sliced bread?

every brand can have problems and everyones expectations of quality are different, garbage in my eyes may be gold in yours, but if you can express your opinion of gold and expect not to be told otherwise, why can't I express mine of garbage and expect the same?

The internet is not a place to discuss things if you only ever expect high fives and have your ego stroked because there will always be someone with a different opinion than you that will not agree with your findings.

I try to buy everything norinco

Brian 46 see my point I was making in the other thread?

QC is bound to miss things from time to time, and specific firearms will have issues no matter the brand. To extrapolate that to the entire brand though, isn't that a bit much Brian?

That said, playstation is just better...:p

if someone has a legit problem there is no need for others to post denying any issue with their gun of the same make and model, minimising the op's issue by saying yours is perfect in your eyes does nothing to help his situation now does it? That is all I am saying.

The thread with the new HK rifles coming in. This is the vast majority of the firearms community, cheap russian surplus, and cheap chinese garbage. The people who care about quality are few and far between.
I don't see your point because the people I know would buy an HK, even they guys I know who always buy cheap (price point) stuff like sks's and norinco will still buy an HK, I know this may be a weird concept to you but that is just the way I see it.

What about legitimate issues like parts failing from brand xyz, can we start our own thread on that without it getting locked or infractions?
I get that you don't want to see it in every thread about brand xyz

People should care about quality, if everyone keeps buying the crap then the companies making good stuff don't make enough money to stay afloat and then all that is available is cheap crap. It's not like the Canadian market is large enough to make or break any company but the fact that many on here contribute in the SHTF or WROL scenario and what rifle they would want threads then say a Norinco is their number one choice is sickening. They have obviously never used a quality AR. There is nothing wrong with a cheap rifle for plinking at the range but if you are going to talk about using it to protect your life or the lives of your loved ones why would you choose the cheapest option available? People claim them to be reliable after shooting 300 rounds down the barrel which is barely broken in. Quality firearms are ones like the HK G36 which is designed to run 20000 rounds without cleaning without failure, just a drop or two of oil once in a while and keep shooting.

People are free to like whatever they want but when they start comparing a made in China $600 rifle to a US, German, Swiss etc then they should expect to have it sh!t on.

Brian: Sorry, I may have misinterpreted you. My mistake.

I think that the people who care about quality are as prevalent in the firearms community as they are anywhere. That's how big box stores get by. Lots of products at low prices, but all average quality. Specialty products, or high quality, cost more. As such, more people are reluctant to buy. That said, I have no problem with a healthy mix. I like quality, but I also like toys. It all depends on my purpose. I'd love a high quality firearm (HK for example) but I can also appreciate the place others (Norinco for example) have in the market.
