Brand loyalty

I am partial to the Winchester brand, M-70's, M-12's, SX-1, 9422's, 101's. But I also have Kimber, Ruger, Ithaca, Colt, and Remington. So although I have a preference, if I take a liking to it I may buy it.
 
No brand loyalty here, but I do see a lack of US-made rifles in my collection as of late due to erratic QC and generally poor finishing. My top three are early FN98 commercial action based sporters, Tikka, and Savage rimfires. I also love my Russian, German, English, and Swiss milsurps. I might add that most of my guns have been modified to varying degrees to suit my needs-- rarely am I content with "out-of-the-box". The exception are my collectible milsurps, but most of them are in new homes as I downsize my collection. If I don't shoot 'em, out they go.
 
I think ruger did .22s right, so I have an american rimfire and a 10/22, along with a mini14, but I also have a savage, browning, winchester, marlin, h&r, ect.
Brand isn't important to me, unless it's a brand to stay away from.
 
I used to be a diehard Remmy 700 guy, but Remington did themselves in over the years. I then learned to appreciate CZ guns and will always look their direction first when shopping for something new. That being said, quality can be found in many areas and I am not stuck to one company these days.
 
I like-not-love Tikkas. 3 of my 5 hunting rifles are Tikkas. The other 2 are for sale :)

Buy a Tikka, and it's going to be good. All you need to add is optics. And if it gets banged up, so be it. No More Tears.
 
I like certain products by certain companies, but I don't purchase based on brand alone. I like Browning shotguns, but I wouldn't own a current Browning rifle. I like the Weatherby Vanguard, but I would not buy another Mark V.
 
Every manufacturer has its strong points and weak points, in order to get the best bang for your buck you have to pick and choose from all manufacturers

This echoes my thoughts... just too much too learn and too many good guns out there to stick with just one.
 
Interesting question.

I think it's truer to say I have brands I won't buy from than that there are those I will only buy from. I won't buy anything Remington, not even their ammo.

Otherwise a lot of options out there are pretty comparable and it comes down to personal choice in aesthetics than whether one brand has a barrel that you can tell is better than another. I imagine there's more difference between brands once you get into the lesser known manufacturers and the stranger guns but for the most part I find myself avoiding things more than seeking them out.

I wouldn't call it brand loyalty but certain companies put out rifles I like. I like savage rifles (110) not the axis. Simple design. Bolt lock. Easy to swap barrels with pre fit ones. Then I love big bores and love the Parker Hale deluxe stocks. They fit me perfect
My most accurate rimfires are all savages
