Took out my brand new dar 22 tx yesterday and ran a variety of ammo through it, including some polar ammo. Had a lot of ftf. Seems the bolt was not making it back closed, there was a strike but very shallow. Gun was incredibly accurate but frustrating. 14 inch stepped barrel with dlask xb5 blast diffuser if it matters.
I thought I put the factory power spring in but turns out it was the minus 10, would changing to the factory spring help.
It was 6 degrees out and only lube used was a couple drops of Lucas oil on the bolt, supposed to be good to minus 40 or something crazy.
Any advice aaa I am not really familiar to the dar 10/22.
Best ammo was eley contact and eley force, shot tiny little knots

The light spring is for subsonic ammo! It’s hard on ur gun to use the wrong spring and reliability will be erratic plus you beat ur gun up! Change to the proper spring and I’m sure it will solve ur problems. I believe they are colour coded white for subsonic, black or no colour is standard and orange for the souped up hyper velocity.

Kind of what I thought, going to give it a try, was reading the Kidd website and it has colours listed differently than dlask, turns out I have the standard spring installed. Hoping it is just the break in with the tight tolerances

Regular 10/22 mags, I believe it is the sporter chamber. I ran it today and did not have one misfire, just a couple of ejection issues. Probably just needed some rounds run through it. The first round needs to be pushed closed with the charging handle. Tight tolerances in a semi is my guess. What a good shooter,
