Brand New Hical.ca .50 Beowulf 5 Round METAL Mags Coming Soon!!!

Wicked assumption. Note the sides. It isn't the same shape as a 20 round mag.

Sure looks the same as a gi 20 rd curved mag. The addition of the dents to stop follower travel is an even bigger indicator that its not a custom one off mag for beowulf. Why not make a shorter mag if thats the case.

And i bet if you take measurements its exactly the same as other STANAG based mags

7 rounds beo mags are common in the us 5 not, so they just crimped 7 rounders to 5.5 to keep the price down.

NR Mags had the issue with their proprietay mags but the E-Lander mags were brought in by Wolverine and are good to go.

Wrong. NRMag was the original push behind E-lander .50 beo mags, then wolverine also ordered them from E-lander in attempt to get a piece of the pie. (Just like they did to NRMag on the AIA enfield mags.

Wolverines E-lander .50beo mags were also shut down because it was the same mag NRMag's .50beo that was shut down.

My apologies to Hi-Cal for posting on their page, but our name has been brought up.

Not sure where you get your info from, and don't want to know, but it is not totally correct. If you want to debate this with me please post on my page, we have nothing to hide. For the record we have never ordered .50 Beowulf mags from E-Lander or anyone else. I understand another "importer" asked for RCMP approval for these mags and was told no. Why would we even try? we had 10,000 5/30 mags in stock to sell, stop and do the maths? As for the AIA mags, I am not sure now who tried to import these first but it was several years ago, if I remember correctly the shipment was incorrectly packaged and all seized, this was long before anyone approached E-Lander about the project. No one was working with E-Lander for these mags when we raised the project, so we went ahead with it, this is known as free enterprise. This keeps everyone honest :) look at how the retail prices are coming down, I don't hear anyone complaining.

For the record magazines are not required to have RCMP approval before importation and sale. Several of us, myself included, understood this was not the case in the past.

Hey John, I will be in touch so the story can be set straight, there is nothing wrong with free enterprise, like you say, it keeps people honest as I am sure HiCal is finding out today givens I spot 2 sponsors also listing the same mags today at a fraction of the cost.

I will PM you shortly.

**edit. Your PMs are turned off. Would you prefer email or your forum.

Which follower do these mags have? (Some BWolf mags have a flat follower, others use the .223 follower) Surprised no one has asked this yet...

I stand corrected. I was thinking of the NRM AIA mag fiasco. Didn't even know about the Beowulf one you are referring to.

I asked as well since I want a mag that works in the 50 reliably like the newer design that centers the round, the 223 follower mags have reliability issues when used with the 50

There are going to be a whole lot of angry customers if you get a mag that is, you know, optimized for the round stamped on its body ;)

That being said, my AA mags have never caused issues with the 50. They've been dead reliable, even with that .223 follower.

We have got such a large volume on the preorders, we have dropped the price to $39.99 each for preorders, thanks for your business!!
