Contour camera with picatinny mount. I use mine when flying (not with the picatinny mount). The Contour camera has no built in screen but with bluetooth to my iPhone I can get the camera lined up just right. You can also start and stop recording from the phone.

Cool tip, but I want one I can use with my optic. That way if I want to shoot from behind the lip of the parapet in the top tower of my zombie bunker castle complex, I can still hit targets. I made my own wireless camera with picatinny mount, and wireless arm mounted screen. It worked great, but without sights, it was impossible to achieve any hits on paper, outside of 10-15 feet.
 
I can envision myself mid way through a long stage then all of a sudden... I get a text from my wife. "Are you out shooting again?"

Stop mid course, push home button and have Siri reply: "Of course, where else would I be. I dont drink, dont do drugs and done go to strippers... all thats left is the gun range."

Siri sends it, I re-select my "scope app" and continue my shoot.

Not a win!

I wonder if my old quake world crosshair is one of the sight options? Most realistic video game ever!! Does the iphone 5 have a built in light? If so, tactical light included.

All joking aside.. It is an interesting glimpse into the future. Don't think so? Well picture that with infrared, etc. Computer controlled HUD. Ammo counts etc. Video games coming to life. It will happen.

Yup its coming and it is going to be awesome. Record what you see and have all the options of a phone and connected to the internet.

Why all the hate? Sure you may all think it's silly now, or poorly built, but people used to think dvd's were silly (in their first iteration they were called laser discs...large, expensive etc.) but they tweaked them, improved them, make them cheap and cheerful and now I bet you all have one in your house???
Seems no one thinks it's silly to have balistic software apps on their iPhones, so...why not exploit more of their features?
Technology is creeping in everywhere, and, why not?
