Everyone else who chimed in said there T97 was NOT like mine as far as the mag release being so loose. Looks to me like the machine slipped when they were boring the hole. If they JB weld I am going to freak the heck out. THats what you do when it break when there no warranty. Canadian law states products are expected to have a reasonable level of quality. Thats not quality.

Just off the phone with the tech who "REWORKED" the mag release. On the phone he spent about 10 minutes talking about how he is a left handed shooter and his bad experience with these bullpup designs. I got him cornered and he admitted to adding an EXTRA SPRING to the release assembly and now it wont drop out by shaking the gun. He must have seen The Shakiest gun in the west where the bullets drop out of the gun if he tipped it forwards too! Hopefully its fixed.

So those clowns at North Silva were supposed to ship the gun direct back to me. I called today as its been over a week since they did me a huge favor by working on my gun. Apperantly its been shipped back to Wolverine. So in my estimation Wolverine had the gun either last week or beginning of this week and they have not notified me they got the gun or when they plan to ship it back to me. I am so sick of this total B/S already. Ship my brand new gun across Canada, they ship it to another place, then it gets shipped back to the original place and then back to me. All they did was add a spring, something that could have been done by me or a gunsmith here in town. What burns my chicken is how they admit the machining on the gun is out of specification. But I am supposed to be satisfied with that. My money was not out of specification, because they never would have shipped the gun to me if it was. If I am not 100% happy with the repair they can stick the gun right up there arse because I will file a dispute with Visa. They take these matter far more serious that North Silva seems to.

If you did a little research you would read on here all the FTF issues with these guns. It's more of a design issue then anything else....there is no feed ramp, the mag basically feeds the rounds directly into a 90 degree wall of aluminum. Some mag trial and error will help solve that, as some will sit higher in the mag well then others. Some people have filed feed ramps into the receiver and that seems to solve the issue permanently. Go through the long sticky in the black rifles forum for some pics of this.

North Sylva screwed me over bad a couple of years ago... Live and learn ....

I waited over a year to get my stuff back,
