brand new rem 700 police 308, how come it doesnt have the x mark pro trigger?

It would appear that new rem 700p are shipping with the 40x trigger.

That's the route Remington is going on the P-line. It's a great trigger compared to the alternative.

Youre saying the new police models are getting it?

I picked out the xcr tlr for the bell&carlson stock(comes action bedded) 26inch ss barrel and the adjustable trigger since it was the better deal at almost the same price. If the police models had that trigger out of the factory i would have bought that instead.
