Just picked up my Savage 93R17-FV .17HMR today.
Right now it's wearing a crummy old bushnell buckhorn; any suggestions for a new low-moderatly priced scope suitable for the caliber?
I'm heading to the range on Sunday and can't wait to see how this baby performs. It will be interesting to see how the Accutrigeer works. This is also the first bolt-action I've owned, hopefully I'll get proficient quickly.

Sorry for the bad pics - my camera doesn't like anything but sunny days.

Congratulations! That's a nice rifle!

Luckily, rimfires don't create enough recoil to cause any problems...so your main concern really is just clarity. Bushnells, as mentioned are pretty good for the money...and even though a bunch of people here have given Leapers negative reviews, I personally like them and have them on both my 10/22 and my Savage MK II GL .22LR. D & L Airgun has some really good prices on Leapers, and they operate out of Langley, BC. The ones that I have are the 3-9x32 AO for $59/ea.

Same rifle as mine - love it. Cheap and accurrate.
Ditto on the Bushnell 3-9, I've got one on now. Fiddling with a Tasco Varmint I picked up but having trouble with getting the right rings to allow enough elevation adjustment.
You'll love this rifle.
