I agree, market is saturated with shotguns. We need pistol calibers and rifle calibers. 45-70 in this would be so ridiculous it’d be awesome.
This aluminum framed 410 revolver would need to be completely redesigned and heavily upgraded to cope with something like 45-70. 410 is 11,000 to 13,500 psi. 45-70 can range from a low of 18,000 to as much as 50,000 psi depending on which action type you are reloading for..Most factory 45-70 ammo is around 28,000 psi or lower because weak actions like trapdoor 45-70's exist.
Magnum research 45-70 revolvers are $1400 to $3500 US depending on the model.

No one ever makes anything in 7.62x25, it's really very disappointing !
So why are there other restricted shotguns on the market then such as Dominion Arms Raider etc, they are pistol grip only and short barrel and classed as restricted.
Not trying to argue with you but as per the current regs the way they are written, by modifying (other than cutting the barrel etc) a non restricted firearm to be less than 26” overall it just becomes a restricted and must be registered accordingly.
Right, the DA Raider is a Restricted Shotgun, likely because there were already other nearly identical long-barrel DA shotguns on the FRT.
If the Raider were imported alone without the brand history, the RCMP MAY have had a different opinion.
The Seraphim Armory Nomad Pistol had the word "pistol" engraved on it (it's almost identical to the DA Raider). One is a R Shotgun, the other a Handgun.
It basically comes down to the whim of the individual classifying at the time.
If a pistol grip is installed on a Dlask Serbu Shorty, it'll become a Handgun.
Meanwhile the actual Serbu shorty, if imported from the US, is a Restricted shotgun.

I thought only the longer barrelled versions came with chokes based on the descriptions on the site. Wasn’t anticipating to receive any with mine.
