We will be having an ALL STEEL match in Brandon on Sunday June 5th. This will be approximately 10 stages and 200 rounds. It will be all time plus scoring (your time to knock down all the steel + any penalties you occur).

Targets will include poppers. texas star, plate rack, static steel, ground steel, B zones etc. Targets must fall to score (no calibration requests).

If you have seen the videos of Tuesday Night Steel or the Berry's Open in Phoenix, this is what that match will be like which means A LOT OF FUN!

Pre-registration is MANDATORY (no walk ups allowed)

This sounds like a Dream Match.... or a Nightmare.. Depends if you like Steel or not and how accurate you gun is.. WOW I wish I could go to that one....

IMHO steel is the most fun type of target to shoot in competition. It is very satisfying to clear the "sound" but it can be frustrating as well.

Yes anyone can come to the match as long as you are competent with your firearm. You do not need a holster but you will need magazine pouches on your belt. Please remember that safety rules are still in effect so when not actually shooting at targets, your finger must remain outside the trigger guard. This includes when moving from position to position or during reloads etc. There will be Range Officers on every stage to assist you.
 
Spring Steel Competitors,

Right now, we have 23 people registered for the match. With 5 squads, we are likely going to be able to get people through very quickly so we are going to offer people the opportunity to shoot the match a 2nd time for an extra 10.00 as long as we have enough time and people that are interested. Only your first score will count for trophies but the 2nd time will be bragging rights!

This will be time permitting so we need everyone to help reset steel and keep the match moving.

With that being said, bring at least 400-500 rounds if you want another chance at the steel!
