Fist off to do this you should know what you are doing. I take NO responsibility for anyones work, but my own. Be responsible if you are unsure DON"T TRY IT!

There that's out of the way.
I have found it's fairly easy to make 350 brass from any brass in the 264RM to 338RM faminly, neck size does not matter as you completely cut it off.

1. is 7RM brass

2.Removed neck and part of the shoulder, OAL is 2.170
2a. At this point I anneal the brass down to approx 1/2 it length.

3.Resize in 350RM full length sizer die, with the center stem removed.

4.Resize again with the center stem in the die and trim to length.
4a.TURN THE NECK to a wall thickness of 0.013. This is an IMPORTANT STEP as too thick a neck may cause excessive pressure in chamber.

5. The loaded cartridge compared to a loaded 350RM brass.

THIS IS DONE FOR SAMMI SPEC CHAMBERS "NOT CUSTOM CHAMBERS"

Enjoy.

HOW TO CUT THE BRASS PART WAY DOWN THE SHOULDER. SEVERAL WAYS, YOU CAN USE A DIE GRINDER OR DREMMEL WITH CUTTING DISC, HACKSAW AND A BIT OF GRINDING TO SQUARE IT UP, I HAVE A MINI LATHE. I guess the die grinder or dremmel would be easy way to go.

It doesn't look like the brass is annealed. What method do you use and why 1/2 way down the case?

The brass was polished for the pic after annealing. I suppose 1/3 of the way down the brass will work fine. With a bit of time on our hands "WINTER" 350 brass is not hard to make. No one should be held to ransom for RARE 350 brass.

Yep, I have made 350 RM from all kinds of belted cases, pretty much anything.........300 H&H, 375 H&H, 300 WM, 308 NM, 7mm RM, 264 WM............300 H&H are the best as you don't have to turn necks after, just load 'em up and pop 'em out, voila 350 RM......
