Brass catcher AR15

Hi I got mine from (cheaper tan dirt) it is aa nylon mesh bag that fits right on, I use mine with a scope mounted and it works fine.
+1

I use something similar (though I got it at a local B&M)... Mine even has a zipper at the bottom, so to empty you dont even have to take it off :)

I actually want the 3Bucc one... does anyone have pics? I'd like to see other side (not the side shown on their website).

Hello,

The velcro one blows donkey. After a few pieces of brass get in it, it starts to twist.

The 3Buuc is the best. the one for a carry handle attaches under the handle, and has a pin at front and back that goes into the mounted adapter on the handle.

The one for a flat top, has a little piece with two holes that you mount on the front of the rail (so in front of your scope), the two prongs on the catcher goes into this adapter.

Both bags allow to be opened from the bottom, so they can be emptied without removal.

I have both kinds and they both work well.

I was able to find a Brownells bag which is similar to the ones above. has a ballistics nylon bag and velcros to the HG. First time out, I figured I had found the worst invention in my life. The way it was set up would defintely cause ANY AR to fail.

Then I also got a bunch of cases burning my hands. Almost burnt the bag.

A bit of time and cooler head, I was able to rig up some simple mods to help keep the bottom of the bag against the lower stopping the brass from falling through and this helps support the bag so it stays high not obstructing the ejection port.

Definitely a McGiver type mod but at least it is working better saving me the cost of getting another.

I think the one pictured above is what I should have gone with. I like that the bag is held open by the ejection port then has a lower bag to make the sure the empties don't make it back to the action.

Like it. Who sells it and how much?

Thanks. Had a look at the pics. Similar in design to what I am presently using except they have a pouch that is down. Also the frame, keeps the bag open so cases fly to the back of the bag and drop to the bottom.

This is basically what I am doing with mine except my bag is straight out. Will build some supports to keep the bag fully opened and lean the end down to ensure cases stay at the back of the bus.

Nice design.
