Well if you reload you always hate chaseing brass so I was wondering what sort of setups do people use and works the best. I want to catch the brass for my CX4 storm and m1 Grand so i can reload it with out chaseing the brass around. Any sugestions I cant really find anything for the storm ect. (At least in Canada)

Most places that you will see shell catches are on high end pistols for competition. I have a saltier gsp in 32 s&w and it has a shell catcher. It works but the problem with them are that sometimes the will jam the gun as the brass get caught in the net and doesn't clear the action. I also own a cx4 and have never heard of one for it. I'm sure you could build something to attach to the top rail that would hang down.

Moat on the time things of this nature are custom and there not catchers but the deflect the brass down so their easy to find.

Best of luck in your search

I have only tried one but I would not recommend the type that installs directly on your firearm if that's what you are after. The one I tried would induce FTF problems with the brass bouncing around or frame deflecting the brass back into the path of the cycling bolt.

If you are talking about something to catch brass while shooting stationary from the firing line (unlike combat/ IDPA/IPSC style shoots) then a modified mosquito mesh with a basin works ideal. It also works well to prevent your brass from annoying adjacent shooters.
