what is the best and quickes way to remove case lube from bass after resizing bass

I rinse in almost boiling water and let dry.

Turn in a piece of cloth or kleenex...at least with the lubes I use which either wax or water based.

I use a seperate batch of walnut media just lube removal. Tumble for 15-20 minutes is plenty.

last bunch of brass I put a little bit of TSP with the brass in a strainer in a bowl that fits the strainer, poured in boiling water, shook it around for a while dumped that water, rinsed off the casings int he sink with hot water, then a final rinse with the second half of the kettle. Took a couple minutes, drying took a bit but they were cleaner than when I started.

I'll break down and get a tumbler one of these days.

Sorry for the hijack.. this one is it.. but my old man sawed about a foot off his 120 for bears camping and quading.. Then the annual clay pigeon turkey shoot cam up and he had to borrow from me.

You can imagine how it felt for him to borrow shotgun from me...


I'm scared to make him go out shooting more because then I'll really have to step up the reloading.

I use RCBS case lube which is water soluble so a water dampened rags works well.

I use good ol' Brasso and a blue paper towel, Lee Zip trim makes cleaning quick and easy too

I use wax and graphite instead of lube.... so you dont have to clean anything after

I just use a cheap dollar store microfiber towel for the exterior, qtip for the neck Size, wipe, done.
