Can anyone shed light on this disc. It’s on a well travelled M91. No Finnish markings that I see. Hautok seems to be someone’s last name? Thanks in advance for any input.

Probably meant to be read as HAutoK = Helsingin autokomppania = Helsinki Truck Company, Weapon #193. I would highly recommend you reach out to Martti through Mosin.fi who will search through Finnish State Archives for info about your rifle. Any Finnish Mosin retaining a stock disc is worth finding out about.

I used to look on a Website many years ago. Mosin.Net. I don't know if the website is still in existence or how safe it is nowadays.
it had a lot of valuable information on it at one time. it had lots of cool pictures and information .

Mangrove just posted this on Gun Boards:

Helsingin autokomppania (literally "Helsinki Car Company") was founded in Helsinki in 1935. It operated between 1935 and 1939 from Taivallahti barracks at Mechelininkatu 32, which still stand as a nursing home for the elderly and supermarket. After the mobilisation of the Finnish Defence Forces in October 1939, the unit formed 5., 6. and 7. Autokomppania of II Armeijakunta at Viipuri in the Karelian Isthmus. Some of the rifle records are available at the National Archives of Finland.
