Brass drying rack

"...Brass drying rack..." 15 minutes in a lowest setting oven on a cookie sheet. Mind you, a regular tumbler requires no drying.

Does the alcohol method leave any stains or spotting on the outside of the cases?

Not on my brass.

Yup. I've used it with mixed results.

Seems very few people heard of it till I brought it up earlier this year.

I did about 400 9mm brass in the oven at 200 for 1.5 hours. Appears to have come out dry! Didn't have as much success with .308, but maybe I should try both methods again.

Started using alcohol 3 year's ago.

putting them on the show rack in the dryer on med heat for 20 min is my preferred method when I am in a hurry

I tried the oven method once, it dried the brass okay, but for some reason my brass ended up darker in colour than brass that I let dry on its own. I haven't tried the alcohol trick yet, but will give it a try. Our oven has a warming drawer, that works well. Not as hot as the oven.
