Brass for m14

i have american eagle brass wondering if anyone has reloaded with this stuff before if its any good.

I've had no issues with it. I don't do any extreme match shooting, so all brass to me is the same. I check it for cracks/damage before every reload, and usually end up tossing them after 5 reloads, regardless of brand. My loads aren't hot though. YMMV.

how short should the brass be on the minimum i am at are 1.997 to 2.000 is that to short for case lenght

That's about where I end up after trimming on my Lymann. Feeds and shoots fine in my NorcM305. Books say to trim to length of 2.005" BTW.
