Do you have a minimum number set for use as a guideline of the same brass headstamp for keeping or selling off for scrap?

I have over 25 different headstamps of 45ACP brass, some in both brass and Nickel. Need to thin the herd.

I shoot mostly 9mm and yes, I reload for them although sometimes I wonder if it's worth it. I combine small lots of headstamps and use that for practice ammo. Larger lots, say more than 100, I keep separate for shooting matches.

I have shot a number of "Lost Brass" matches in the US in the past few years. I keep all my small primered .45 acp brass and "odds & Ends" brass for shooting them in these matches. Since I know the brass is going to be unrecoverable , losing it is no problem.

Yes there is quite a few head stamps in 45 acp.

Uncommon ones, nickel plated and anything I don't have 500 of ends up in the "practice & guests" bucket and gets reloaded just for that. No much time spent on quality control of those.
Fortunately, I don't come across small primer cases very often. I was about to scrap the +/- 150 I have until buddy said he had a bunch that would make it worth to reload a batch. That was 6 months ago and I have not seen them yet. Not unhappy about it.

I separate large and small primer brass by tossing the small primer. KISS.

I have a few thousand of same lot# brass. I also have some batches ofmixed headstamp brass that gets loaded together. In most 45acp shooting mixed headstamp isn't a big issue unless (maybe) your load is +P.
