Brass marks

Run a few hundred rounds of steel case ammo through it and switch back to brass after, see if that helps a bit. The harder steel casings will help smooth out the chamber as it is much harder and more resilient than brass. Chamber hone would also smart idea if that doesn't improve it. I put a small piece of adhesive Velcro on the nub on the upper and I don't get anymore dents also. Mine is doing it also but I can still manage to shoot a 1" group at 50 yards with FMJ practice ammo so you're probably SOL getting them to put a new barrel on.
