Lee handprimers are pretty well known for breakage. I broke two handles and broke off the top of a body, just below the shellholder swell. Also used about 4 linkages, I still have enough pcs to assemble 3 or 4 of them. That was over probably 40k rounds or so though. Wouldn't run to blaming the brass on that, I had all different makes.Peterson is good brass and it has been available for years. I was getting mine from Western Metal a few years ago.
There's one issue though: brand new, the primer pockets are rather tight. I broke a Lee hand-primer on my first box.
Nowadays I am using small primer Lapua brass in 308 'cause you know, large primers are scarce.
