I am trying to reload 8mm lebel revolver with once fired fiocchi brass and hornady 8mm lebel rev dies. The dies I got seem a little tight for the brass I am using. I checked with an unfired factory fiocchi case and it reads .347-.348 and the fired brass is resizing at .340. In the second picture you can see a taper at the back of case because of this. I just resized about 20 cases like this and 3 of them came out warped as well (second picture). Wondering if this is a common issue with fiocchi brass?

My chart says 8mm Lebel measure .384 at the base and .350 at the neck so a tapered case. Don't know why the cases are bent like that. Only thing I can suggest is more or different lube. No personal experience with that cartridge.

Something seems off with your sizing die. Coming out .340 seems too small if the min case is .348-.350. I have no experience with his case. Do you have bore mics to measure up the die?

A 0.010" bullet interference is a lot...

It’s possible you got a bad resizing die
Years ago I got a bad one in 7-5 French, it was impossible to get the case to go more then halfway in the die
It was a Lee die and a quick email to them resulted in them shipping me a new resizing die and all was good

Do you have a set of snap gauges or something else to measure the inside of the die? You might even get away with the upper jaws of your calipers. Compare the diameter to the correct OD of that cartridge (should be -0.001 or -0.002 at most). If there’s a problem, Call Hornady for a replacement.

As others have said 1/100th bullet tension is too much.
