Brass Signal Cannon on Base

Any idea what this is worth? Seems like a hard sale, its super heavy. To me it looks like a repro cannon mounted on a homemade stand of sorts. It was mounted on a paddle wheeler. Thanks !

That's a swivel gun, not a signal cannon.
I can't comment on price but it wouldn't be cheap.

I'd stick to it being made to make smoke and thunder to amuse the tourists, given it's prior home.

Check with some of the sailing and wooden boat type forums and be prepared to ship it. May pull a pretty penny.

As a signalling device, not intended to fire a projectile, by my understanding, this bypasses the pending legislation, by not being a firearm of any type.
