I use RCBS lube and a pad. Been using for 20 plus years no problems. Tumbles off or a damp rag when finished. Ain't broken don't fix it.

There are spray lubes made specifically for reloading. Your local gun shop should carry them. Comes off with regular solvent. Soapy water will leave a thin film.

I mixed Lee alox with water in a spray bottle, probably 20water:1lube, and it was too little. Brought it down to about 15:1 and it's very smooth sizing. I drilled a board to hold 250 5.56 cartridges and just spray them with a dollar-store bottle, and it gets just enough inside the mouth too. It dries off in an hour, and I don't think you even need to wipe it off afterwards. But if you are very picky Lee is water soluble (obviously) so it's easy to wipe off.

Just be sure to microwave the bottle to warm the water up, and shake it well, because the stuff does seperate over time.

Dillon pump lube works great. I just tumble the brass for 15-20 minutes in fresh corn cob to get the lube off.

If you are putting water into your dies, are you stripping them and lubing after each sizing session?

I use the Lyman spray lube; its cheap, available and it works.
I lay out a couple of hundred cases on a dedicated cookie sheet, spray, roll, spray again.
